Security & privacy

League-scoped access with role-based control.

Chips & Checks uses authenticated user access and league-based permissions to help keep information within the intended group. Users sign in to their own account, and access is limited to the leagues and information associated with that account.

Permissions also depend on the user's role. Players receive normal league access, while administrative and tournament-management functions are restricted to authorized league managers, administrators, and tournament directors.

Access controls are enforced by the application rather than simply hiding administrative features from view.
